Mission

We encounter the rich English liturgical, intellectual, and cultural patrimony which helps to form us as faithful disciples of Jesus Christ and prepares us to be more effective witnesses to the Holy Gospel. Mindful of our own need for continual conversion, we participate locally in the larger mission of the Universal Church in the salvation of souls.

In your hearts reverence Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to make a defense to any one who calls you to account for the hope that is in you, yet do it with gentleness and reverence. - 1 Peter 3:15

God has created me to do Him some definite service. He has committed some work to me which He has not committed to another. I have my mission. I may never know it in this life, but I shall be told it in the next. I am a link in a chain, a bond of connection between persons. - St. John Henry Newman
